Roger’s always had such a rough, rock voice. But here, you can really here the sweetness in his voice and how talented he is. That’s why I love this song.
Roger's voice!! Just the tone and emotion brought tears to my eyes. He sounds so outstanding on this song and his voice is even more beautiful as he gets older than it was when he was a younger man.
Beautifully sung by Roger. But what about 4:03 - "And over here... my best friend Brian May" so sweet I almost cried
Roger beautifull forever. wonderfull voice.
Omg...tears in my eyes. Freddie would have loved it❤. Beautifully done Roger
Still puts a lump in my throat... I can't believe he can preform this without his voice breaking.
I knew how great of a singer Roger is, but this still blew me away!
What a beautiful song..., what a exactly right and perfect voice ..., Roger’s voice!!
“It’s hard not to cry” ..., with Freddie’s figure in my heart! 💔💔💔💔
How much are you missed ..., unforgettable Freddie

hard not to cry, indeed.
It's not *possible* to not cry when I hear this song, ever.
Amazing how Roger manage to pick those high notes in such easy, unforced and stylish way. Love this track. so sad / still full of hope.... 💟

Paul Rodgers er en sanger der kommer fra gruppen The Free i 1968 og bliver opløst da guitaristen Paul Kossof forlader denne verden og bliver så omdøbt til bad company

Cool voice but I miss Freddy's
Great song; gross reference. I didn't want to hear about AIDS. And never mind the topic of condoms. But what does this have to do with Nelson Mandela?
sandinyourshoes - The song was written to raise money for Nelson Mandela’s 46664 Foundation. Beyond that, I find your words incredibly troubling. You have missed the entire point of the song: HIV doesn’t discriminate. HIV can happen to you, to me, to anyone. Perhaps if people had been willing to hear more about AIDS in the early and mid-eighties when it was gaining its foothold, the protocol that has stopped AIDS from being an automatic death sentence would have been discovered earlier. Perhaps if people had been willing to hear more about safer sex, so many people we lost would still be here, and so many still living with HIV wouldn’t have been infected.
sheltiesong , YOU are troubling and very condescending. If people aren't willing to listen, then all the political correctness won't fix anything. A point to the song? I just want to hear it. Forget the lectures.
sandinyourshoes - This is a song written entirely to bring funding and awareness to the AIDS crisis (look up the 46664 Foundation if you’d like). Of course Roger will talk about. It literally begins from the perspective of someone’s reaction to contracting the virus! “The harder you play, the faster you fall. When you think that you know it all, you know nothing at all.” Read And the Band Played On. Watch The Normal Heart. Both explore the horror of inaction that helped cause the pandemic to spread. Of course Roger is going to talk about, having lost a dear friend to unsafe sex a few short years before the cocktail could have saved him. Yet you only want to hear the music and not the lecture. The entire song is a lecture!
sheltiesong , with so much money to be made, someone in "the research community" won't be in any rush to find cures.
